June 2002 update

The avionics stack was wired up earlier in the year as well as the lower subpanel. Below you can see the installed panel and subpanel with the Skymap GPS and the avionics stack. The GPS and avionics stack are both angled towards the pilot for a better angle.

The wing tanks are almost fully finished now including the installation of fuel fittings, fuel level sensors, and gas caps. The picture immediately below shows the space in the inboard left wing where one wing tank goes and the picture below that shows the the installed right wing tank for comparison. The tanks were pressure tested several weeks ago but some seepage was occurring along the back of the tanks. Additional fiberglass work has since been done to correct this (the wall there was too thin) and the tanks will be retested very soon.
