June 2002 update

Really big visual changes on the project occur when the firewall, the custom engine mount, the engine, the propeller, and the canopy bubble are added to the look of the aircraft! Below you can see the firewall is in place and the engine mount. The canopy bubble is not installed but is sitting behind the cockpit area. The bubble, seats, and pilot were being tested for overhead head clearance.

Below is a picture of the proud builder (Richard Long). The engine is in place, the canopy bubble has been moved forward to show its approximate location, and the propeller has been put on with a single bolt for the photograph. The canopy bubble is an RV-6 bubble and will be cut up to make the windscreen and door windows. Further below is a closer picture of the engine from the right side of the aircraft.
