July 2002 update Sometimes
it is best to accept the help of your friends when building an airplane.
Here we see the Diamant being towed to the nearby sheet metal shop where a
custom engine cowling will be fabricated by SAS. A prefabricated nose bowl
has been purchased and fitted to be part of the cowling.

Below
Frank (a local Emeraude owner) is examining the progress on the engine
cowling.

Below,
the riveting on the bottom of the cowl has been completed and the top access
panels are about to be fitted. Reports are in this week (2nd week of July
2002) that the access panels are already in place.
