We were a little concerned about how successful this fly in would be as the event had been recently postponed due to the events of Sept. 11 and the subsequent restrictions to enhanced class B airspace. Bob White Field is located in the enhanced class B airspace of Orlando International (MCO) airport. Fortune smiled upon us. This particular Saturday was part of the first period of really fine fall weather (Orlando style) of the year and the day was absolutely perfect for picnics and for flying. While not our largest fly in event, there can be no question that this fly in was a great success and enjoyed by all who attended.

We had 41 aircraft parked along the runway with many more in or in front of their open hangers and shade hangers. There were, in addition, 13 SeaReys lined up on the north side of the airport hangers. Here are some pictures of this event.
